Don't be cheated from your internet service provider!!!

Which internet connection do you using? Banglalion wimax? Qubee wimax? Olo? or Brodbands? whatever! Be careful about that! Are you using 512kbps connection? Are you happy to use that? 1Mbps connection? More happy? 2Mbps? Most happy people of the world? Wait, your connection speed is 512Kbps, but your downloading speed is 64KBps! But why? Do not be too much excited. Read below carefully.

the smallest unite of bandwidth is bits.

8 bits = 1 Byte.
1024 Bytes = 1 Kilo Bytes.
1024 Kilo Bytes = 1 Mega Bytes.
1024 Mega Bytes = 1 Giga Bytes.

Banglalion is telling you they are giving 512Kbps speed only for 1385 taka. But we are living in fools paradise. Do you know what is the meaning of 512Kbps? You are thinking 512Kbps means 512 Kilo Bytes per Second. But you are absolutely wrong. Look carefully. They are writing 512Kbps. Not 512KBps. So you are using 512 Kilo bits per Second. Divide your speed with 8. like 512Kbps/8 = 64 Kilo Bytes per Second.
(Kbps= Kilo bits per second)  (KBps = Kilo Bytes per second)

512 Kbps/8 = 64 KBps.
1Mbps = 1024 Kbps/8 = 128 KBps.
2Mbps= 2048 Kbps/8 = 256 KBps.

Your service provider will never tell you this secret before asking. So, never be cheated from your service provider.

Thanks.
